Dear Parents,

What a whirlwind of a school year! Let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your support. It has been a year of changes that encompassed experimenting, learning and growing.Thank you for the role you played in this process.

I am proud of the accomplishments and efforts that the Lamar-Spaulding school community displayed throughout the entire year. Parents, staff and students, because of your commitment and dedication to our school, we did not skip a beat. Each success story from this past year is a testament to the hard work and commitment of each of you.

As we look forward to summer break, please take some time to relax and recharge. Remember that learning and growth for our students are endless.  Continue reading with your children over the summer, and have them read to you. Make visits to the local library weekly trips for your family.  Play simple math games, but have fun. Learning never ceases, so I encourage you to embrace the moment and continue to foster a love for learning in your children.

Finally, I want to thank you, our LSE parents (guardians), for your ongoing support. Your partnership is invaluable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you in educating your children.
