Mrs. Amber Atkins
Hello! My name is Amber Atkins and I am a 4th grade Math, Science and Social Studies teacher. This is my 8th year teaching and all 8 years have been here in Lamar! I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University and I have a Masters in Instructional Accommodations from Francis Marion University. I have been married to my husband, George, for 6 years. We have a son, Eli, who is almost 2 and a Yorkipoo named Cooper! I am excited for what this school year will bring. Our students are growing and thriving at LSE and I can't wait to experience that with our students this year!

Hello, my name is Shameaka McDowell and I am a 4th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher. This is my 23rd year teaching. I graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in Elementary Education, Cambridge College with a Masters in Early Literacy, and Lesley University with a second Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I am looking forward to this 2022-2023 school year being one of the best!!

Hey, my name is Kacey Witherspoon and I am a 4th grade ELA teacher. This is my 3rd year teaching! I graduated from Coker University in December of 2019. I have my BA in Elementary Education and I am currently working on my Masters from Grand Canyon University! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 2 years. We have a beautiful daughter and two very spoiled dogs! I am excited for this school year and to be your teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
